Take the .deb on Debian and Ubuntu
It installs through apt like anything else, registers the magnet handler, and puts Flume in your application menu. Debian 12 and Ubuntu 22.04 are the oldest releases it is built against, because that is where the WebKitGTK version it needs starts.
The AppImage runs anywhere
One file, no install, no root. Download it, make it executable with chmod +x, and run it. It is the right answer on any distribution not covered by the packages, and the right answer if you would rather not install anything at all.
Fedora and RHEL
Take the .rpm on Fedora, RHEL, Rocky and AlmaLinux. It is built inside a Fedora container, so its dependency metadata is the real thing rather than a translation of Debian's.
